PadLaserPrivacy, Terms & Takedown

The fine print, in plain words

Privacy policy

PadLaser helps people find homes using public county records and connects them with licensed local real-estate agents. PadLaser is not a brokerage; requesting an agent connection is free; separate agent services may carry fees. That connection is the whole product — so the only personal data we want is what it takes to make that connection well.

What we collect

How we use it

Free customer accounts. After your request is saved, you may create an account with an email and password. We store a salted password hash, not the password, and a hashed recovery code. An essential, HttpOnly sign-in cookie expires after one day. Only requests explicitly linked to your account are shown; matching an email does not grant access to older requests. Recorded progress is not automatic HomeSmart confirmation.

Traffic measurement. We count coarse page views and acquisition categories without visitor cookies. With your permission, a separate first-party cookie, lasting up to 30 days, measures distinct browsers per day. We honor browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Change this choice through Cookie preferences on your account page. Measurement stores no contact details, full URLs, query strings or account identifiers. Daily browser hashes expire after 90 days; aggregate counts after 400 days. Reports shared with advertisers contain totals, not your personal referral information. These counts are not independently audited people, purchases or leases.

Our guided chat saves a draft in your browser tab so you can resume after a refresh. Drafts expire after 24 hours and can be cleared with “Clear draft & start over.” Answers are sent to PadLaser to organize your request; longer descriptions may be processed by Amazon Bedrock AI. We do not store a draft as a lead until you review it and give permission to share. Device voice controls may use your browser or operating system's speech service and permissions. Do not provide Social Security numbers, bank details or credit reports. HomeSmart Lead Services and their selected agent receive your request only through the referral process you authorize.

Mortgage advertisers provide company details, account contact information, ad copy and uploaded images, licensing identifiers and service states. We retain these with placement offers and review records to operate advertising accounts. Approved company advertisements are public; private account contacts and access keys are not. Visitors choose whether to open an advertiser's website, where that company's privacy policy applies. PadLaser does not send Realtor intake details to mortgage advertisers. Advertising account deletion can be requested using the privacy form below.

What we never do

We never sell your personal information, and we never share it beyond the realtor you asked for and the service providers named above.

Retention and deletion

Lead details are kept while your request is being worked. Verification documents are kept only as long as verification and legal compliance require. To ask us to delete your information, use the request form below (choose "private information") — a human answers, typically within 2 business days. We honor deletion across everything we hold, except the minimum we must keep for fraud prevention and financial record-keeping, and the record of the deletion request itself. Deletion sticks: our backups age out within days, and if we ever restore one, deletions are re-applied automatically before the site comes back up.

If you left us a voicemail, a recording of that call is held by our telephony provider (Twilio), not only by us. We delete it there too. That one step is done by hand, so our own monitoring keeps flagging it to us every time we check the site until the recording is actually gone — and your deletion is not finished, by our own definition, until it is.

Calls & texts — consent

When you call or text PadLaser at +1 877‑752‑1082, or give us your phone number and ask for a realtor to contact you, you agree that PadLaser and the realtor you are matched with may call or text you back about your inquiry. Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to end texts, or HELP for help. We do not use your number for marketing lists, and we do not share it beyond the matched realtor and our telephony provider.

Terms of use

Where the home data comes from

Homes shown on PadLaser come from public county records, fetched on demand and cached, plus listings posted by licensed realtors whose licence we have verified. County data can lag or contain errors; cards labeled "recently sold" or "off-market" are county records, not offers to sell. We make no guarantee of accuracy, availability or fitness — verify every detail that matters with your realtor before acting on it.

What PadLaser is (and isn't)

PadLaser connects you with independent licensed real-estate professionals. We are not a brokerage, we are not your agent, and nothing on this site is legal, financial or tax advice. Partner realtors pay a referral fee at closing (disclosed on the realtor join page); that is how using a PadLaser realtor stays free for you. Listing a home here takes a licensed realtor, and ours do it for you free — there is no self-list lane.

House rules

These terms are governed by Arizona law. We update this page in place and change the date at the top when we do.

Image provenance & takedown

Every photo served on padlaser.com is downloaded to and served from our own servers — never hotlinked — and each one keeps its provenance: the address it came from and when we fetched it. If you hold the rights to an image, or it exposes private information about you, ask us to remove it below. A human reviews every request; valid requests are honored promptly, typically within 2 business days, and we can also block every image from a source site going forward.

Tip: to get the image address, press-and-hold (or right-click) the photo and copy its address — it looks like padlaser.com/img/….webp. The page address works too.
